Midnight Mercato

I've already been to Mercato Centrale a couple of times since it opened but it was my first time to visit the Midnight edition last night. My Aunt and I arrived at BGC around 2100H and we already saw busy people at the area. We didn't go there directly as I still had to buy me a pair of new WHITE running shoes.

**OOT (Out Of Topic): Got a pair of new shoes @ R.O.X. for a very good deal, more than 50% off! Oh, and even their Sanuks are on sale! =)

Back to topic. After my purchase, my growling hungry stomach found it's way into Midnight Mercato. Since it was my turn, my Aunt got us a table and waited while I set off to buy our foods. I really didn't have a specific food to buy in mind so I just let the long lines do the talking. (Usually, the stores with long lines are the ones that sell good food.) Will upload pics in the next posts...

Apparently, I can no longer upload photos at my picasa/blogger account 'cause it's already full. On the other hand, flickr has an upload cap limit every month. So until I find a solution for this, I'll be posting sparsely in the upcoming days. Ciao!

Dad's Ultimate Buffet

My Aunt treated me to Dad's Ultimate Buffet. I've been wanting to eat at Dad's ever since I saw the eat-all-you-can tempura at Saisaki. So when she finally agreed to feed me at Dad's, my ears flapped, and my intestines jumped for joy!

When you have the Ultimate Buffet, you get a complimentary teddy bear.

This is my aunt's teddy a.k.a. "my dinner date"

Plate#1 (From upper left): buffalo wings, chicken fingers, spag, (?), (??), (???), a cut of lechon, apple salad, sushi.

Plate#2: Lengua, ginataang kuhol, krispy kangkong, ginataang pusit, (?), lumpiang ubod.

A close-up of the ginataang kuhol - I enjoyed eating this.

Plate#4: Brazo de mercedes, creme brullee, ice cream.
